Role: Clinical Perfusionist

Location: Greenville, SC

Shift: Days, 5x8s (08:00–16:30)

Contract Length: 13–20 weeks (holiday coverage)

Weekly Gross: $5306

Breakdown: -

W2: $101.5/HR

Perdiem: $1246/Weekly

Requirements: -

• Certification: Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) – REQUIRED
• Experience: 5 years perfusion experience – REQUIRED
• Trauma Level 1 & Teaching Hospital experience – REQUIRED
• Travel experience – REQUIRED
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS (preferred but strongly encouraged)
• EMR: Minimum 1 year Epic experience
• Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays if contract covers holiday period
• Flu vaccine required

Clinical Skills: -

• Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) & ECMO (adult & pediatric, including transport)
• Anticoagulation management, acid-base balance, adequacy of perfusion
• Advanced cardiac procedures: CABG, valve replacement/repair, TAVR/TAVI, MAZE, ASD/VSD repair
• Pediatric and adult CVOR experience
• Advanced support devices: ECMO, ECLS, Impella, IABP, ECPR, ECPella
• Techniques: Hypothermic circulatory arrest, cerebral perfusion, ultrafiltration, blood conservation
• Emergency management: oxygenator failure, massive air embolus, power failure

• Terumo System 1
• Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia
• HMS, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Angiovac
• CardioHelp, Sorin perfusion system
• Belmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioQuip HC

Floating Policy: -

• Staff may float to other Prisma campuses/units as needed.
• Will only float to areas within demonstrated competencies.
