Selectek is partnering with a company located near Greenville, South Carolina to fill a Controls Engineer role on a contract-to-perm basis. This client serves large manufacturing clients primarily in the textile industry. Candidates in this role will be focused on designing and launching controls systems.

Employment Type: Contract to Permanent
Expected Pay Range: $40-$55 per hour depending on experience, prior to conversion
Location: Greenville, SC

Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in automation and controls design
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley (A-B) systems will be crucial
- Knowledge of PLC programming from scratch
- Experience with SCADA
- Experience with electrical design/schematics in AutoCAD
- Ideal candidates also have experience with R&D and manufacturing

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client's request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details: Candidate will design controls/automation systems for machinery along with PLC code writing from scratch. This person will collaborate with clients from initial conception through checkout and troubleshooting in order to design systems that meet their needs and specifications. This is a role that is heavier in design of Controls than PLC programming at the floor level.
