Job Details

Assists in inspection for moderate-level contracts such as roadway mowing, vegetation or tree removal, street sweeping, etc., where field measurements for payment are required. Employee is required to enter daily inspection data into the Highway Maintenance Management System (HMMS). Assists in gathering data for Greenville Maintenance to include on-call concrete, RPMs (Reflective Pavement Markings), long line thermos, tree removal, brush management, lawn care, etc. Assists in conducting field inspections on complex contracts or permits requiring firm understanding of technical aspects. Assists in obtaining information necessary to prepare and review damage claims for review by the Resident Maintenance Engineer (RME)/ Assistant Resident Maintenance Engineer (ARME). Required to work during snow and ice or inclement weather to provide support to the office operations and other times as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
