Job Description:

Broadstep Behavioral Health is actively hiring for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Greenville area for our Simpsonville, SC location. The role of the Direct Support Professional is to be a caregiver for our child and adolescent population in our residential behavioral health programs. DSPs assist our individuals in their activities of daily living (ADLs) to help them integrate and engage in their community.

Schedule & Location:
  • BOTH AM and PM shifts available in Simpsonville, SC
  • AM Shift: 6am-6pm PM Shift: 6pm-6am
Job Duties:
  • Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene and medication administration.
  • Accompanying individuals on outings and activities.
  • Continually remain active, alert and able to respond to all scenarios.
  • Utilize various verbal and physical behavioral interventions.
  • Document behaviors, activities, and incidents.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including operations, clinical and medical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans for our individuals.
  • Provide and ensure complete service delivery in a healthy and safe manner that supports Broadstep's vision, mission, and values.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB test.
  • Possess patience and excellent communication.
  • Basic computer skills
