Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for a broad portfolio of clients, overseeing comprehensive tax compliance and strategic advisory services.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, delivering consultative guidance on entity selection, owner compensation strategies, deduction optimization, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of tax filings across multiple entity types, including S Corporations (1120-S), C Corporations (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Individual returns (1040).
  • Analyze and refine accounting records prior to tax engagement, including reconciliation of accounts, posting of adjusting entries, and trial balance preparation.
  • Perform targeted tax research and provide analytical insights on complex issues in collaboration with firm leadership.
  • Develop and implement tailored tax strategies, projections, and planning initiatives for both business entities and individual clients.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in business returns (corp, s-corp, partnership)
  • Bachelors in Accounting
  • Masters in Accounting or Taxation
  • CPA preferred
