Job Description
Main Task : Work internally within local and international project teams for the development and of optimized assembly and plant layout concepts and their industrialization to improve competitiveness of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work in a cross function team
Develop assembly concepts in consideration of ZF Chassis Module Systems (Work Plan/Investment Plan/Assembly Line Layout/Project Timing)
Support in acquisition projects for the production area
Prepare RFQ for Equipment Supplier and manage the integration
Support Launch of New Assembly Equipment
Prepare and Maintain PFMEAS's, value stream & standard work instructions
Initiate, Support & realize continuous improvement activites in the plants
Initiate and conduct workshops in the plants e.g. line balancing, problem solving, new concepts including training plans
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Determines product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.
Preferred Skills & Requirements
Master/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering and or similar
3 - 4+ Years Experience in Manufacturing Setting
Good Mechanical & Technical Skills
Capable of making sound decisions in a timely manner
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, CAD and SAP Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good time management & prioritizing skills
Willingness to Travel if Needed
