Entry level Mechatronics Tech will be responsible for testing and quality control activities to be completed in a safe, timely and quality oriented manner. Specialized training.

Trade School and or Associates Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics needed.

The purpose of this role is to complete all assigned tasks related to final assembly and testing of cutting edge switchgear equipment. To ensure all work is performed in a safe, timely and quality oriented manner that meets customer needs. Once all testing is complete, the equipment can now be shipped. Company is busy because of their new cutting edge quality product that the industry as embraced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret work instructions, wiring diagrams and quality control documents.
  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Well-versed in blueprints, materials, specifications, and drawings.
  • Successfully complete all required training as assigned.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement efforts.
  • Safely operate necessary equipment to carry out assigned tasks.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in various departments as necessary.
  • Comply with all related processes and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all assigned tasks within the test department
  • Ensure compliance of all related procedures and standards
  • Interpret work instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and quality control documents to ensure product compliance
  • Successfully complete all required training as assigned
  • Actively seek out continuous improvement opportunities for production and safety
  • Safely operate necessary equipment to carry out assigned task
  • Take ownership of personal development
  • Support other departments as needed
  • 1- 3 years of electrical and/or mechanical assembly experience desired (not assembly line or machine operator).
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints desired.
  • Must experience using hand tools and material handling equipment.
  • Strong commitment to a team environment and works well with others.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Active Driver's License is required in the event employees need to operate a company vehicle or company equipment.
