We are currently seeking dynamic candidates for the role of Account Executive. In this position, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the vital link between Sales and Operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional TAB Services. Your primary goal will be to understand clients' needs, coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues, and create solutions for lasting client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, fostering a productive working relationship through regular communication via calls, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Expertise: Provide insightful advice to clients regarding TAB Services for optimal system efficiency and performance.
  • Account Growth: Manage existing accounts by delivering updates, addressing concerns, and offering additional services.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities and prepare proposals for potential clients.
  • CRM Management: Document all communication and strategies in our CRM Database.
  • Project Evaluation: Review project documents including blueprints and specifications to understand project scope.
  • Cost Estimation: Calculate material, labor, and other costs to prepare detailed estimates.
  • Bid Preparation: Create and submit timely, competitive, and profitable bids and proposals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to strategize and present proposals to clients.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and opportunities to maintain accurate pricing.
  • Value Engineering: Suggest cost-effective alternatives that meet project specifications.
  • Data Management: Keep organized records of estimates, bids, and related documents.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to improve bid success rates.
  • Client Interaction: Clarify project requirements and provide post-bid follow-up.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process enhancements for estimating efficiency.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline operations.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site reviews to finalize bids as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Sales and client management experience in technical fields such as HVAC, engineering, or construction.
  • Two-year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in estimating within the construction, HVAC, or mechanical systems industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proven track record managing multiple projects or client relationships simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimating software.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctual with a willingness to travel.
  • Basic understanding of Air Systems/Water Systems and balancing procedures.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping experience is a plus.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions: This role may require occasional lifting of 20 to 50 pounds. While primarily office-based, it includes visits to job sites and client meetings, necessitating the ability to sit, talk, hear, and stand throughout the workday.
