JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Water Mitigation Technician in Greenville. Our client is a Restoration Company. The Water Mitigation Technicianis a key component of our team providing restoration services to our customers.

Responsibilities of a Water Mitigation Technician includes:

• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, containment, and disaster clean-up
• Work with power tools and perform demolition as needed
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are performed in a timely and efficient manner
• Respond to losses and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and company procedures
• Communicate with customers regarding scope of work and necessary paperwork
• Document all related information of loss including notes, sketches, and equipment counts
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Travel to other locations within South Carolina with potential overnight stays
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements of a Water Mitigation Technician:

• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves & get dirty
• Empathy, Friendly, and a positive can-do attitude
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the Restoration Industry
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds
• Comfortable with walking/standing for long periods of time, working at elevated heights, and working in restricted spaces while wearing PPE
• Ability to pass a drug test & extensive background screening
• Available for full time role with overtime, on-call rotations, and state-wide traveling
