Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate and maintain PLCs, HMIs, robotics, sensors, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automated equipment to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to upgrade systems.
  • Develop and maintain custom software tools, scripts, and dashboards to support manufacturing operations.
  • Integrate automation systems with MES, ERP, SCADA, or other enterprise software platforms.
  • Create data collection and visualization tools for process monitoring and decision-making.
  • Document system configurations, software code, and maintenance procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality through automation and software solutions.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to support manufacturing excellence.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or software engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens or equivalent).
  • Experience with SCADA, MES, and HMI design and configuration.
  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL, MySQL) and data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of robotics integration and machine vision systems (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
