Reliable's corporate headquarters is located in Elmsford, NY; manufacturing plant in Liberty, SC, and regional sales and distribution centers throughout the US and across the world.We aim to serve as a fire protection leader by (i) manufacturing the highest quality sprinklers and valves (ii) producing and distributing a complete line of system components (iii) providing innovative solutions (iv) delivering the highest level of customer service and (v) teaming with customers as valuable strategic partners.Reliable is growing and have the following opportunity available to you today: Manufacturing Engineering TechnicianLiberty, SCThe Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports the engineering functions for the organization in areas such as troubleshooting existing processes and new process development.Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for implementing projects to improve cost and quality of the manufacturing processes, products, and componentsInvestigates and resolves mechanical and/or electrical work-in-process problemsPerforms duties as required by Manufacturing EngineersResponsible for programming and troubleshooting machinesWorks closely with the Quality Department to checking parts and assemblies for product and part returnsRecommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related mattersWorks closely with Product Engineering designers on product design feasibility and new manufacturing process developmentDevelops and maintains manufacturing documentation and quality plans per company standardsCoordinates with vendors regarding new product designs and machine partsPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.
