Nerc Compliance Specialist

Entrust Solutions Group is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive NERC Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our clients' adherence to NERC Operations & Planning (O&P) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards. You will lead and conduct mock audits, provide hands-on support during official audits, and guide clients through the complexities of regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining compliance procedures, crafting customized training modules, and facilitating engaging training sessions to enhance client understanding and operational reliability. You will also manage audit documentation effortssuch as RSAW development, evidence collection, and pre-audit reviewsensuring thorough preparation and organization. Additionally, you will research and implement internal protocols to promote consistency and audit readiness, while collaborating closely with engineering, operations, legal, and IT teams to align compliance initiatives with broader business and technical objectives. This position can be a hybrid or remote position.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, regulatory affairs, or equivalent relevant experience (required).
• Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience working with NERC O&P and/or CIP standards (required).
• Must demonstrate strong communication, analytical thinking, active listening, and organizational skills (required).
• Project management or similar roles (preferred).
• Background in audit participation or experience serving as an auditor (preferred).

• This position pays between $50,000 and $75,000 annually (or hourly) and is an exempt (or non-exempt) position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
