Project Manager - Civil Site Development

Greenville, SC

A well-respected and growing civil engineering firm with a strong presence in the Southeast is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team in Greenville, SC. This award-winning company offers diverse services, including civil, environmental, structural, and marine engineering; land surveying; land planning; landscape architecture; geographic information systems; and construction administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects for various clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Prepare proposals and develop project fees.
  • Conduct site visits and meet with clients and consultants to support project needs and business development.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage engineering work and collaborate with other disciplines.
  • Develop project scopes of work.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Supervise engineers and technicians.
  • Track projects using accounting software.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • 7+ years of experience in public and private project design, with a focus on site development.
  • Proven experience in producing residential, commercial, and industrial design plans.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering project management, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
  • Business development skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Understanding of business financial information.
