Position Overview

The Production Engineering Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting our plant operations team comprehensively and effectively. This position emphasizes troubleshooting and seeking continuous improvement opportunities across various departments including Production, Maintenance, Shipping and Receiving, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects focused on continuous improvement in production, quality, maintenance, and warehousing.
  • Assess and recommend enhancements to boost overall line performance.
  • Analyze performance trends and execute root cause corrective actions to implement improvements.
  • Engage in problem-solving processes across all departments.
  • Foster strong employee engagement through a visible presence on the production floor.
  • Contribute to developing metrics that support site profitability and feasibility.
  • Actively enhance production line efficiency and departmental workflows.
  • Create and document new operational methods and procedures for all plant departments.
  • Monitor the CMOS system to identify and close any operational gaps.
  • Drive the execution of special projects, including capital initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with at least three years of experience in a continuous improvement role.
  • Experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting is essential.
