Chipton-Ross is seeking 8 (eight) Sheet Metal Mechanics for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
8 years Minimum Aviation production drilling/structures work make sure resume clearly identifies the experience and years.
Precision drilling experience is a hard requirement.
Minimum Bench work- Candidates need to understand this is hands on production work, climbing on fuselage parts, stands, kneeling, and on ladders/stands.

Skills Matrix:
• Aircraft production structures experience 6+ years.
• Sheet Metal 6+ years.
• Precision Drilling 4-6 years minimum.
• Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs 2-4 years.
• Blueprint Reading 4-6 years.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations. F-16 Production line structures and assembly. Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components. Heavy Precision drilling, Countersinking, and reaming precision holes. Must have current or RECENT (within the last 2 years) experience actively drilling precision holes on aircraft. Bench Mechanics need to have other relevant experience to be qualified to support required work. Candidates need to understand this is hands on production work. Candidates must posses the ability to climb on fuselage parts, stand, kneel, and go up and down ladders/stands.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Must be able to work any shift
1st Shift Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm
2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am
Weekend Shift- Thurs-Sun 6:00am-4:30pm
