Specialties / Licenses or Certifications

License in Pest Control (GHP), Termite (WDO), Wildlife, Lawn & Ornamental and/or Fumigation

Our Position

Our Service Managers are responsible for overseeing service function(s) including but not limited to providing quality service to all customers and successfully meets and/or exceeds production goals, managing service call backs, customer satisfaction and cost control (inventory). Our Service Manager are responsible to assist in the recruiting, hiring, and training Service Professionals, monitor production goals, provide tailored coaching and action plans to motivate team members, conduct branch meetings, provide in-the-field leadership, and ensure that the customers receive exceptional customer service and have positive experiences with every interaction.

Your Responsibilities
  • Providing direction and assigning tasks to service staff in their functional areas ensuring compliance, proper training, adherence to company policies, and safety.
  • Managing daily and monthly production goals.
  • Listening and responding to customer complaints and working with Rocket employees to resolve issues/concerns.
  • Conducting routine check-ins of service Rocket employees and following up on customer complaints.
  • No less than 60% of working hours will be spent providing in-the-field leadership by riding with production staff to personally inspect jobs, assess progress, ensure compliance and proper techniques, increase management-level presence with customers, and provide additional support to Rocket employees.
  • Assisting in the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training of production technicians.
  • Partnering with branch manager to address Rocket employee's relation issues including performance, attendance, etc.
  • Maintaining and approving Rocketeer timecards through payroll system.
  • Assisting Branch Manager in maintaining proper inventory of pest control, termite, lawn, and related products and issue to Service Professionals as appropriate.
  • Adhering to company pricing and sales guidelines.
    Maintaining fleet including vehicle inspections, accident procedures, coordinating service.
  • Providing excellent communication and customer service skills to build trust and create positive customer experience.
  • Reading and understanding product/PPE labels accurately to ensure that they are properly applied, stored, and disposed of in compliance with State and Federal laws.
  • Adhering and abiding by all driving laws/company policies when operating company vehicles.
  • Complying with all State and Federal regulations.
  • Managing company credit card(s), and expense reports.
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Our Requirements
  • Complete a minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have valid driver license and be 18 years of age.
  • Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 50lbs or more.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate basic math.
  • Working in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; where a momentary lapse of concentration can result in serious injury, death, environmental consequences, or data breach.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays.
  • Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to pass a three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier.
