SUMMARY: Workers perform customer service through a variety of tasks and help customers find information, in print and electronically, in a variety of formats.
Hiring for fall 2025
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staff the circulation desk, checking library items in and out and helping customers find their way around the building
Aid customers in using Library databases and finding resources in all areas of the library, including Reference and Periodicals
Assist in maintaining Library inventory through re-shelving, scanning, and revising
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
Customer Service experience
Previous library experience
Must (frequently) push/pull 41-100 lbs.
