Description:

Process all incoming and outgoing referrals, manage physician office schedules and provide back-up to Front Office. Employment Qualifications. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2 years experience in a medical office setting required. Ability to operate office equipment to include computer, fax machine and copiers, and familiarity with practice management and EMR systems. Knowledge of medical terminology. Essential Job Functions. Duties may include the following depending on specific office needs. Provide support and fill in for any non-clinical staff based on immediate needs due to work flow overload or employee absence. Assist office manager in training new non-clinical employees. Handle incoming phone calls and messages from patients. Process all incoming referrals (through EMR system, faxes, phone calls)Process all outgoing referrals ordered by providers. Schedule all patient incoming referral appointments. Assist clinical staff in resolving scheduling issue...Physician, Specialist, Orthopedic, Office Manager, Healthcare
