Logistics/Data Specialist (Contract) | CLIENT

Location: 100% onsite (1 day WFH after onboarding)

Position Overview:

CLIENT is seeking a Logistics/Data Specialist to support Plant 10 and Packaging operations. This role is responsible for planning, forecasting, and monitoring transportation and container management budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes, and driving efficiency across supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, track, and forecast transportation and container budgets.
• Implement and follow up on process penalties (debit notes) with suppliers and partners.
• Extract, validate, and analyze supplier invoices to prevent overpayments.
• Develop, analyze, and report KPIs, providing corrective actions when necessary.
• Prepare financial and risk analyses to support decision-making.
• Create and maintain regular/ad-hoc reports for management.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, VPS, and OSHA requirements.
• Represent the department in cross-functional meetings and projects.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in IT, Business, or related field (or 4+ years equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in logistics, purchasing, or data analysis.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
