Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading Field Recruiting activities as well as supporting full-cycle Home Office recruitment while emphasizing a positive candidate experience. This includes sourcing, screening, selecting and placing qualified candidates (both internal and external) in a timely manner to meet the staffing needs of the organization while ensuring compliance with EEO and ADA guidelines as well as Company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key business leaders, candidates and HR in the development of staffing strategies for current and future staffing needs in the Field. Develop and manage working relationships with Field hiring managers through consultation and appropriate communication.
  • Manage position vacancies using recruiting resources (e.g. internet, internal postings, social networking, job fairs, direct recruiting, outside agencies, references, referrals, etc.) to source qualified candidates.
  • Act as point of contact for Vendor Relationships; Job Posting Sites, Staffing Agency Contracts, etc.
  • Create / Manage job descriptions for Field requisitions.
  • Ensure all HR policies are adhered to pertaining to internal transfers, promotions, etc.
  • Ability to create and extend Job Offer Letters to selected candidates.
  • Manage online job posting process for all Field opportunities.
  • Act as SME on WorkDay Processes / Procedures as they relate to Recruiting. Train Hiring Managers as needed.
  • Create best practice recruiting model with documented processes for Field Recruiting efforts.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review recruiting strategies, challenges and initiatives. Build credibility and rapport by understanding and research the specific department. Share and collaborate with the hiring leaders and candidates about market trends and data.
  • Create best practice recruiting model with documented processes that include all aspects of full-cycle Field Recruiting efforts.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager on final hiring decision and provide salary recommendations. Discuss best culture and skill fit for the department before decision is made to hire.
  • Assist with full-cycle Recruiting for Home Office requisitions as required.
  • Additional project work as needed.
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • 1-3 years of prior HR and/or Recruiting experience; prior experience in the staffing industry
  • 1-3 years of Multi-Unit / Field Recruiting experience HIGHLY desired
  • Experience with WorkDay (or similar HCM tools) required
  • Experience in the Financial / Mortgage / Lending industry a plus
  • PHR/SPHR Certification (or similar) a plus
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law
  • Proven track record of building strong, mutually respectful relationships with hiring managers
  • Able to give and receive feedback appropriately
  • Communicates well at all levels, adapting communication to suit the receiver
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to motivate and lead without formal authority
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline OR Equivalent experience
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Work Environment:
  • Office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
