Job Description









As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrol in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. You will be expected to respond promptly to situations as they arise, communicate clearly and professionally, and support the overall well-being of everyone on site. This position also requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for all individuals at the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to maintain order within the location.Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing guidance to individuals as required.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions only.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.CPR certification and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
