Provide technical leadership and guidance to the main bearing and gearbox Wind engineering design teams responsible for roller and journal bearing systems across all stages of the project lifecycle, spanning from conceptualization and design development to product launch and ongoing fleet operations. Accountable for overall technical underwriting of designs in the areas of driveline bearings, and consequently, accountability for the design itself. Influence technical rigor for acceptance of design decisions, DFMEA, root cause analysis, design methods and tools. Identify and drive continuous improvement in engineering design processes and design practices for main bearings and gearbox bearings to enable engineering design execution that results in safe, high quality products and services by working with design teams, CT - Hs, and cross functional teams.
