Your Role:
As the Director of Supply Chain, you will strategically lead procurement, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and distribution activities. You will report directly to our VP of Operational Support Services and drive critical improvements, including the upcoming implementation of advanced accounting and supply chain software.
What You'll Do:
• Lead supply chain strategy, identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory, procurement, logistics, and distribution to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Direct and mentor a skilled supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring beneficial terms and optimal service levels.
• Collaborate closely with finance leaders on budget management and strategic financial planning.
Who You Are:
• Strategic leader experienced in managing complex supply chain operations.
• Skilled in successfully implementing advanced ERP, inventory, or supply chain software solutions.
• Proven track record of at least 7-10 years leading teams and operations in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, blood banking, or a related regulated environment.
• Exceptional analytical skills and an organized approach to strategic problem-solving.
• Effective communicator and negotiator with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
• Able to comfortably lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, and twisting.
