Based in South Louisiana, DDI offers clearing, access, site preparation, logistics, and storm response services throughout North America.Heavy Equipment Operator:The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as skidsteers, excavators, and loaders. This full-time position has competitive compensation and benefits.Key Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient mannerPerform routine maintenance and repairs on equipmentFollow project plans and specificationsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policiesComplete daily logs and reportsCommunicate with team members and supervisors effectivelyFollow all operating procedures and guidelinesAny additional tasks or projects assigned by their supervisorRequirementsRequired Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordExperience with various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, mulchers, and loadersExcellent hand-eye coordination and depth perceptionStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamWillingness to work in all weather conditionsKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresStrong work ethic and dedication to completing tasks efficientlyAbility to lift up to 50 poundsSuccessful candidates must complete a drug screening and background check prior to employment
