Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our company's growth and success by managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers

- Develop and maintain relationships with local universities and organizations to attract top talent

- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed

- Oversee employee benefits and assist employees with any inquiries or concerns

- Administer performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews and providing guidance to managers on employee development

- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on appropriate actions

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance

- Collaborate with management to create and maintain a positive and inclusive work culture

- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and programs

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

- Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

- SHRM certification is preferred
