Job Opportunity: Electronics And Instrumentation Technician

Join Mitsubishi Chemical Polyester Film Americas, a global leader in supplying high-quality customized PET films. We are looking for an Electronics And Instrumentation Technician to join our manufacturing team. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work and communicate efficiently and safely.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, repair, and perform both predictive and preventive maintenance on production process equipment, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of basic operation of DC & AC circuits, 3-phase AC power, DC/AC motor theory, DC/AC drive theory, function and operation of fuses and circuit breakers, electrical relay logic circuits, operation of PLC's, temperature, pressure, and flow control loops, and how to read & interpret electrical drawings and instrument loop sheets.
  • Maintain area housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Interact with other technicians to share maintenance knowledge on similar equipment or related maintenance problems.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:

  • Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology or an equivalent Technical College Curriculum or equivalent training as obtained via the Military.
  • Prior applicable industrial maintenance experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills.
  • Willing to work: 1) rotating 4 days on - 4 days off shift or 2) M-F day shift.
  • Willing to work overtime and emergency call-in work as needed.

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position is $28.85 - $31.00. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
