HR Specialist - Recruiting assists with the Colleges recruiting efforts and onboarding for full-time and part-time employees. Serves as HR Receptionist. Completes, distributes, and follows up on paperwork, ensuring needed information is received and communicated. Ensures employee information is complete and filed electronically in an accurate and timely manner. Assists with EEO/recruiting reporting as needed. Coordinates the onboarding process for full-time employees. Sends new hire offer letters/emails. Ensures required paperwork and appropriate background checks are received and complete, including entering into e. Verify, entering in e. Review, obtaining a signed position description, and filing required audit paperwork in Teams. Coordinates with other HR staff to ensure new hires are entered into Colleague. Coordinates new hires first-day experience, including coordinating with hiring managers and IT, collecting I-9 s, and welcoming new hires to SCC.
