Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

Position Status: Full-time, Exempt

Salary Range: $47,000-$51,000

Primary Position Description

This position oversees the management and execution of all retail and wholesale sales,

as well as the production of all survivor-made products. It also includes managing the

retail space within Jasmine Kitchen, managing and coordinating inventory, scheduling

residents during production, and tracking key metrics to evaluate product profitability

Primary Job Responsibilities

Operations & Production

  • Oversee the manufacturing and production of all survivor-made retail products.
  • Maintain inventory systems; manage ordering and supply sourcing for all products.
  • Manage the retail product program budget.
  • Maintain and update Toast and Shopify platforms.
  • Rotate products with varying shelf lives and do independent quality controls for determining freshness.
  • Manage and supervise residents and graduates in partnership with the residential and restaurant team; collaborate on scheduling, evaluations, and performance reviews at both the candle shop and Jasmine Kitchen.

Sales & Distribution

  • Oversee retail and wholesale distribution.
  • Develop/ and implement a sales process to expand into new markets, including
  • direct sales calls and relationship building.
  • Track and report product sales and year-over-year performance.
  • Maintain and grow a list of corporate gift prospects, leveraging board and staff connections.
  • Plan for holiday sales throughout the year in coordination with Marketing and Development teams.
  • Coordinate and manage product sales for holiday corporate gifting campaigns.

Product Development

  • Collaborate on product development, testing, and research for new and existing items.
  • Manage the retail space within Jasmine Kitchen and ensure alignment with brand standards and guest experience.
  • Assist in marketing and sales efforts for fundraising events such as the annual luncheon and others as assigned.

Retail

  • Create a system of communication with Jasmine Kitchen for stock levels and sales fulfillment.
  • Creating annual sales plan for moving inventory.
  • Collaborate with Jasmine Kitchen team to staff storefront during holiday peak seasons.
  • Operate and manage Toast handheld sales devices.
  • Assist with staffing and managing seasonal markets (e.g., Christmas markets).

Key Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and web-based programs.
  • Ability to work independently, manage confidential information, and navigate
  • sensitive situations with care.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; flexible availability, including
  • some weekends.
  • Background in hospitality, sales, or retail preferred.
  • Experience with Toast and Shopify is a plus.

The mission of Jasmine Road and Jasmine Kitchen is to provide a path to healing and

employment for women survivors of sex trafficking, prostitution, and addiction. Jasmine

Road is modeled after the very successful Thistle Farms non-profit in Nashville, TN. The

Greenville affiliate was incorporated in 2016 as a result of a partnership between Christ

Church Episcopal, Triune Mercy Center and Bon Secours, St. Francis Health System.

Jasmine Road's first safe house opened its doors in May 2018 offering a transformative

two-year residential program with an innovative social enterprise component, the first of

its kind in Greenville.

Opening in 2020, Jasmine Kitchen is part of an innovative Social Enterprise Program

that supports the mission of Jasmine Road by providing jobs in a safe, nurturing, and

supportive environment for the residents and graduates of the two-year residential

program. Women may choose to work at the restaurant or employment by making

candles and jewelry to earn money, develop new skills, learn entrepreneurship, and

build their resumes. The social enterprise businesses have a primary emphasis on

social impact in our community at large while helping to fund operations of the non-profit

organization.
