Description:

Principal Duties/Responsibilities: - Collaborates with business functions to collect business intelligence. - Translates non-technical requirements into technical business requirements. - Identifies process inefficiencies and recommends alternative solutions and process improvements through evaluating user impacts, cost benefit analysis, processing specifications, and technology trends. - Identifies, defines, and documents analytical requirements for new metrics and reports. - Designs, develops, and maintains business solutions based on business requirements. - Utilizes data collection techniques, including interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis. - Interprets data utilizing a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining. - Monitors reports and solutions, ensures data and reporting accuracy, and reconciles conflicts. - Oversees project tasks and cross-training through mentoring team members on software / tools. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies: Essential KSAs: - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or computer science - Proven ability to learn new applications, processes, and procedures - Strong analytical, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills - Experience with data warehouse deployments and writing software requirements and test specifications - Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SQL Server, Power BI - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Excellent presentation skills - Ability to build relationships and work well across functions Desirable KSAs: - One to three years of project management experience - Firm understanding of business processes, finance, management, and accounting principles - Experience with Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing Competencies: - Communications - Customer Focus - Personal Discipline Physical Demands and Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to use a telephone with headset for verbal troubleshooting, frequent use of a standard keyboard and computer to document calls in a ticketing system, and occasional use of other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods and use close and color vision. Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy business office. Employment Type: Full Time
