Job Details

This position requires close collaboration with estimators to ensure accurate pricing for security projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Lenel S2 and Paxton systems, as these are the primary equipment installed. They will serve as a point of contact to support the company's IT issues, requiring solid security knowledge, IT troubleshooting skills, and project management abilities.

A typical day involves coming into the office, preparing quotes for commercial projects, collaborating with estimators, and working with technicians on ongoing projects.

Engineering Skills

1. Knowledge of network protocols and functions
2. Experience with data cabling (fiber and copper)
3. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
4. Ability to operate at the command line interface
5. Understanding of network attached storage and RAID configurations
6. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalents
7. Ability to collaborate with technical support and troubleshoot dynamically
8. Maintain detailed documentation within Dropbox infrastructure

Inside Sales/Physical Security Estimation

1. Work with partner contacts for quoting and line card knowledge
2. Manage partner relationships
3. Strong interpersonal skills for client relationship management
4. Proficiency with Microsoft 365
5. Experience with line card software packages (Digital Watchdog, Milestone, S2 Netbox, Paxton, etc.)

Project Planning and Coordination

1. Develop project plans including scope, timeline, budgets, and resources
2. Lead project kickoff meetings to understand security needs
3. Coordinate with internal teams for project alignment
4. Oversee daily project management to ensure adherence to plans
5. Monitor progress and address issues promptly

Pay and Benefits: The pay range is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, PTO, and more, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.
