Responsible for directing Radiation oncology programs including radiation clinical operations, physics, dosimetry and clinical operations. Essential Functions. Directs Radiation and Physics clinical operations performance expectations, and department objectives. This includes but is not limited to oncology related imaging, radiation treatment delivery, physics, dosimetry, brachytherapy, systems and compliance. Ensures the correct use of charge codes and required documentation by oncology clinical staff per GHS oncology revenue cycle guidelines. Ensures charges are entered in an accurate and timely manner. In collaboration with radiation oncologists identifies capital equipment and technology needs for patient treatment.
