Job Summary: PowerSecure is seeking qualified candidates for exciting new projects throughout the US. The Mechanical Field Supervisor will oversee Mechanical Project Installations, including Piping Replacements, Chillers, Boilers, Air Handlers, Pumps, VAV Boxes, etc., managing internal installers or technicians and subcontractors. Minimum Qualifications
  • High School, GED, or Trade School diploma.
  • Valid Drivers license.
  • Proficiency in Procore, MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • At least 8 years in pipefitting/pipe fusion/mechanical trades and 3 years in supervisory roles.
  • Knowledge of scheduling, project budgeting, materials coordination, and managing labor.
  • Experience with various pipe types and fitment techniques, materials, and diameters.
  • Sheet metal ductwork fabrication and installation experience.
  • Electrical and controls installation experience (a plus).
  • Ability to pass background checks and site access requirements.
  • OSHA 30 training (a plus).
  • Willingness to travel for project work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Extensive pipefitting/mechanical skills in HVAC industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Material takeoff and ordering skills.
  • Project management, scheduling, and budgeting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of project accounting.
  • Safety leadership abilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage and supervise up to 8 HVAC installers, laborers, and subcontractors to complete projects safely and effectively.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate installation schedules.
  • Develop weekly/monthly look-ahead schedules.
  • Maintain daily reports.
  • Conduct daily safety briefings and delegate responsibilities.
  • Develop team members skills and safety awareness.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety policies.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must lift up to 50 pounds, and be capable of walking, climbing, kneeling, and working in various environmental conditions, including heights and exposure to hazards.
