Staff Accountant
Location: Remote (Must reside in FL, GA, NC, or SC)
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 | Full-time

Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

• The Staff Accountant will perform month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for multiple entities
• Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• The Staff Accountant will assist with annual audits and preparation of audit schedules
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operational teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
• Identify and recommend process improvements to drive accounting efficiency
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned accounting tasks

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 2+ years of accounting experience within private equity-backed and/or healthcare organizations (required)
• Multi-entity accounting experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in GAAP and month-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Must be based in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina
