Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Program, set up, and operate multi-spindle, bar-fed mill-turn CNC lathes
- Write or edit M & G code to produce accurate parts
- Perform first article inspection and document for ISO
- Measure using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other tools
- Conduct dry runs and verify program correctness in single-block mode
- Perform daily machine maintenance, ensure fluids/coolants are full
- Warm up machinery and report issues to maintenance
- Ensure safety, quality, and accuracy in part production
Qualifications – Needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist or programmer
- Ability to write/edit M & G code and operate CNC mill-turn machines
- Strong shop math and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with first article inspection and ISO documentation
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working independently on 2nd shift
- Familiar with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related tools
