Position Summary: A part-time, temporary adjunct position to facilitate an online course that integrates a Christian worldview with expertise in your teaching discipline.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate an online course in your teaching discipline.
2. Demonstrate skill and/or knowledge in your teaching discipline and strive to improve instructional quality.
3. Plan, develop, and utilize various facilitation methods and materials to meet course objectives.
4. Model empathy, awareness, and relational presence to foster an authentic online learning community.
5. Respond promptly to all student communication.
6. Show competence in integrating technology in a virtual classroom and willingness to explore new facilitation methods.
7. Evaluate students' progress and inform them of their performance in a timely manner.
8. Maintain accurate student records and submit assessment reports within deadlines.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline; terminal degree preferred; certification in facilitation area preferred.
2. At least five years of experience in online or on-campus course facilitation.
3. Official transcripts and proof of certification required for employment.
4. Effective communication skills suitable for an online setting.
5. Strong organizational skills for online facilitation.

Applicants must be born-again Christians, affirm the BJU creed and mission, and support the university's biblical positions on issues like creation, marriage, and sanctity of life. Active membership in a Bible-believing church is required. Commitment to providing an education from a biblical worldview is essential.

Required Education: Master's for undergraduate facilitation; terminal or MFA for graduate facilitation.

Required Experience: Five or more years related experience.
