Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

What does it mean to be a Director, Capital Markets Operations at the company?

The Director, Capital Markets Operations will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Treasury Operations function and related support for Capital Markets activities. This position will help set the treasury technology roadmap by identifying opportunities for improved workflows, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

How will you drive value within the organization as a Director, Capital Markets Operations?

  • Manage the Treasury Operations team in all treasury and capital markets operational support including but not limited to: daily fundings, account management, cash transfers, securitization takeouts and fundings, and various ad hoc data and reporting deliverables.
  • Oversee and develop junior team members and manage overall team workflow and deliverables
  • Develop strategic plans for operational functions and manage the development of processes and procedures
  • Manage daily hedging operations including margin funding, hedge reporting, etc.
  • Oversee the production and delivery of monthly servicer reports
  • Manage bank partner and other third-party deliverables and ad hoc requests for operational support
  • Track and report on various debt covenants and other reporting requirements across lending facilities
  • Drive standardization, automation, and process improvements across all treasury functions
  • Manage company treasury audit processes with both internal and external auditors
  • Ensure that operational systems and procedures support current and anticipated needs for delivering loan performance and financial reporting for both internal and external parties, and provide recommendations when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members and other internal departments to integrate liquidity and capital planning in order to provide analytical support for the company's expansion and development of new product strategies
  • Manage the implementation of large-scale treasury projects
  • Assist with the evaluation of the company's loan portfolio, including leading quarterly and annual compliance/reporting process
  • Build familiarity with various credit agreements and proactively monitor various legal deliverables
  • Serve as the primary contact for assisting and resolving funding and contract exceptions

Experience and Professional Qualifications

What should you already know to be successful as a Director, Capital Markets Operations?

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of six (6) years' experience working in structured finance, capital markets operations, and/or treasury roles
  • Experience with securitization and/or structured finance concepts preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL and windows-based office productivity tools including word processor, spreadsheet, and graphical presentation programs
  • Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
  • Ability to effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and enhance processes to improve business results

$120-140k base + bonus.
