Shop Assistant
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shop Assistant for a company based in Travelers Rest, SC. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting daily shop operations. You'll work closely with skilled technicians and machine operators, learning valuable skills that can lead to long-term career growth. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to grow within a company that values hard work and teamwork.

Pay Rate
$16.00- $17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.

Shop Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
•Load and unload materials and move them within the facility as needed
•Follow all safety procedures and company policies
•Operate basic hand tools and assist with equipment setup
•Assist with general shop tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing materials

Shop Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
•Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is a plus.
•Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
•Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods
•Basic understanding of tools and shop safety

Full-time, temporary to hire
