About the Facility:

Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant—set on over 200 acres—will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted capacity of up to 50,000 units annually by 2030. Assembly operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028. Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create over 700 new jobs in the area.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in production engineering or production management
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related engineering field
  • Strong understanding of quality control technologies (TQM, SPC, etc.)
  • Knowledge of design principles, assembly tools and fixtures, and part tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly specifications
  • Skilled in preparing mechanical drawings, plant layouts, and assembly plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Able to deliver effective training and business presentations
  • Must be able to lift items weighing 5–60 pounds during trial setups and assessments

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the planning and execution of production facility, jig, and tool preparation for model changes
  • Design and implement assembly processes to support vehicle model changes
  • Maintain and manage production facilities and parameter databases
  • Oversee jig and tool data accuracy and updates
  • Collaborate on production planning and proposals with development teams
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues through cross-department coordination
  • Drive process improvement and cost reduction efforts
  • Support design change initiatives through equipment and process updates
