Travel Multifamily Superintendent

📍 Travel Role: Projects across South Carolina & North Carolina | 🏗 Ground-Up Multifamily Projects | 💼 Full-Time


We're working with a well-established, family-owned General Contractor with over 50 years of success in the construction industry, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. Known for their strong company culture, collaborative team environment, and commitment to quality, they're now seeking a Multifamily Superintendent to join their growing team.

This is a travel-based position, covering projects throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, with company-provided accommodations and vehicle. You'll take the lead on-site, delivering high-quality ground-up multifamily developments while working with a team that genuinely values and supports each other.


The Role

As a Superintendent, you'll be the key leader on site, coordinating field operations, subcontractors, and ensuring each job is built to spec, on time, and with top-tier craftsmanship.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading construction activities on ground-up multifamily projects
  • Managing day-to-day field operations across various job sites in SC & NC
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors and on-site teams
  • Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to keep the schedule and budget on track
  • Managing documentation and reporting through project management software
  • Acting as the primary liaison between ownership, design teams, and company leadership


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily construction
  • Solid understanding of all building components—foundations, structures, MEP systems, interiors, and finishes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel throughout South Carolina and North Carolina as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software platforms
  • A proactive problem-solver with a team-first mentality
