The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the full setup and oversight of financial operations for a major industrial project. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for implementing core financial processes and controls, driving ERP deployment, tracking and capitalizing significant CapEx, and acting as a key business partner to leadership. It's a unique opportunity to shape the finance function of a flagship investment from the ground up.

How you will impact Smurfit Westrock

• Steer financial leadership on a major greenfield industrial project
• Oversee capital investment tracking, budgeting, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure robust financial controls, audit readiness, and accurate month-end closings
• Act as a business partner to the Plant GM and interface with divisional leadership
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement
• ERP implementation (SAP)

What you need to succeed

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA/CMA preferred
• Strong grasp of US GAAP, SAP, and financial planning tools
• Experience in project-based or manufacturing environments
• A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach and clear communication style
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive performance
