One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Audio in the United States.

In this role, you will be pivotal in developing large-scale, high-performance web applications that enhance user workflows in radiology. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to building voice-interactive applications that streamline medical imaging processes. Your expertise in audio and multimedia software engineering will drive the creation of innovative features, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop large-scale, progressive, and single-page web applications that enhance user workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Contribute to voice-interactive radiology applications, integrating audio functionalities to improve user interaction.
  • Collaborate with Full Stack Engineers, ML Engineers, and Product Leaders to design and implement new features.
  • Ensure code meets internal standards for security, style, maintainability, and best practices in a high-scale HIPAA-compliant environment.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, and performance across the team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in developing audio or multimedia software.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or equivalent modern languages/frameworks.
  • Experience with the Web Audio API and media software design patterns.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and browser APIs such as IndexedDB and WebSockets.
  • Strong skills in unit and integration testing.
  • Experience working on distributed teams with version control using Git.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
