Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Transportation Broker – Account Manager who brings a portable book of business. If you're driven by relationship-building, deal-closing, and have an existing client base that trusts your expertise, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients, utilizing your book of business
  • Act as the primary point of contact for shippers and carriers
  • Negotiate rates, lanes, and freight contracts to maximize profitability
  • Source reliable carriers and manage freight from pickup to delivery
  • Resolve transportation issues with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Continuously grow your account volume and margins

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a transportation broker or account manager
  • Existing book of business is required
  • Strong industry knowledge and carrier network relationships
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-starter mindset with a results-driven attitude
  • Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight tools (e.g., DAT, Truckstop)

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $65,475.00 - $80,000.00 per year
