Our client, a global engineering, procurement, and construction company collaborating with leaders in various industries including energy, infrastructure, life sciences, advanced technologies, mining, and metals, as well as government agencies, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer.

Senior Structural Engineer

Location:

Candidates must be available to work onsite in Greenville, SC; Houston, TX; Aliso Viejo, CA; or Aiken, SC.

Pay Rate:

$80/hr

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct construction document reviews as required.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplinary team/design projects during the planning, design, and construction phases.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications related to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing, and bracing analyses.
• Experience in renovating or modifying existing facilities is required.
• Familiarity with computer-aided drafting applications is required.

Basic Job Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction documentation, and field inspection of construction projects. Nuclear experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.
• Professional Engineer License is preferred but not required.
