Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and cloud deployments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Terraform, Ansible, and Python, and will have strong expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly Amazon EKS. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployments, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services
  • Automate system configuration and provisioning using Ansible
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS
  • Develop custom automation scripts using Python
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment
  • Ensure security, scalability, and performance of infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth delivery processes
  • Monitor system performance and availability using modern monitoring tools

Primary Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
  • Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, EKS, etc.)
  • Expertise in Amazon EKS for Kubernetes cluster management
  • Strong scripting and automation skills with Python
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

Secondary Skills (Good To Have)

  • Docker and container lifecycle management
  • Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests
  • Cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., AWS Config, GuardDuty)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering role
