The warm welcome, individual service, absolute discretion, and love of detail are evidenced by being one of only two Relais & Ch--teaux designated hotels and restaurants in Maine.We are proud to be one of the 580 members of Relais & Ch--teaux, an association of worldwide independent hotel and restaurant owners.Position: Hotel, Restaurant, and Spa Operations ManagerWe are seeking an experienced professional to oversee all aspects of hotel, restaurant, and spa operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences. The role involves managing staff, maintaining budgets, implementing business strategies, and fostering a positive work environment. The manager sets the strategic direction for the property and ensures all departments work towards common goals.Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecast revenue and expenses, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff; foster a positive work environment; ensure high customer service standards.
  • Guest Relations: Ensure guest satisfaction, handle complaints, and enhance the guest experience.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, market share, and profitability, including sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Maintaining Standards: Uphold the hotel's brand image, service standards, and overall quality.
  • Overall Operations Management: Oversee all hotel departments (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, etc.) for efficient service delivery.Essential Skills:
    • Leadership: Motivate and inspire staff, foster a positive work culture, lead by example.
    • Communication: Effectively communicate with staff, guests, and stakeholders.
    • Financial Acumen: Understand financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
    • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Customer Service: Prioritize guest satisfaction and create positive experiences.
    • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.The hotel innkeeper & general manager is the driving force behind the hotel's success, responsible for operational and financial oversight while ensuring a memorable guest experience.Qualifications:
      • Bachelor's degree
      • Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience
