About the Role:

The Senior Account Manager I will plan, conduct, and manage accountability for assigned sales and account management activities to grow client business in alignment with annual client business plans and sales goals. What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain assigned client, customer, and partner relationships, fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client business strategy, growth goals, performance, and priorities, ensuring that diverse perspectives are considered.
  • Educate assigned clients, customers, and partners on DLT core value services, adapting communication styles to meet varied needs.
  • Conduct basic research to identify opportunities, valuing input from team members with different experiences and insights.
  • Find and contact potential sales prospects, utilizing various outreach methods to ensure accessibility for all potential clients.
  • Develop, manage, and report teams' monthly sales activity documentation – Sales Plays, etc., ensuring transparency and collaboration.
  • Conduct general lead generation and sales activities, encouraging participation from all team members.
  • Make calls to potential customers to discuss assigned client products, ensuring respectful and inclusive communication.
  • Contribute to proposal responses in conjunction with other DLT functional teams, valuing diverse ideas and approaches.
  • Leverage DLT's OCTO team of market executives and technologists to support assigned client growth objectives, promoting teamwork and inclusivity.
  • Lead sales and marketing activities to promote client products, ensuring that marketing materials reflect diverse perspectives.
  • Provide operational guidance and support to junior staff, fostering an inclusive mentoring environment.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training for sales associates, lead development representatives, account managers, and others, encouraging diverse learning styles.
  • Manage, document, and forecast a pipeline of opportunities to drive retention and growth of business with DLT, ensuring all contributions are recognized.
  • Track all opportunities to support attainment of sales goals, promoting an inclusive approach to goal setting.
  • Conduct client and customer success activities to retain and build business, ensuring that all clients feel valued and supported.
  • Investigate and resolve client and customer issues as they arise, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Document quotes and other sales activities accurately in company CRM, ensuring accessibility for all team members.
  • Manage agreements and credit terms as needed, ensuring fairness and transparency in all dealings.
  • Inform and execute Business Planning Objectives – Internal Team and Client/Partner Joint Business Plans, promoting collaboration and inclusivity.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned, encouraging flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: College Degree or equivalent work or military experience.
  • Experience(s): 3-5 years of sales experience, 3-5 years of general business experience, 3-5 years of customer service experience and/or team leadership experience; 2-4 years of previous job experience with public sector procurement process; Demonstrated ability to achieve sales activity and financial metrics.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on adapting communication to diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of the role are handled with care and consideration.
  • MS Office skills: Comfortable with intermediate functions of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
