Field Supervisor - (Water/Gas/Electric Meter AMI Projects)
Utility Partners of America (UPA) is seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious individuals with a strong Operational background in Utility Metering (Water, Gas, and Electric) to join our team as Field Supervisors (FSs) in support of various AMI Implementation Projects Located throughout the US. As the FS, you would be responsible for supporting the Field Operations Managers and overseeing the work performed by the installation technicians. Typically work with an assigned team of (10-12) installation technicians. The FS also assist with management of the Quality Assurance Program to ensure quality and compliance through audits of his/her assigned technicians. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading a diverse staff of installation technicians. The FS will have experience in utility metering, and related equipment, operating procedures. PPE, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, as well as experience in the utility industry. He or she will be able to lead team in a professional and efficient manner while also being able to train and motivate field staff to provide the best possible service.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years of experience in Utility Metering (Water, Gas, Electric) - Not necessarily all three.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Must consent to a drug test, background check and motor vehicle records check
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • 100% Travel (Location On-site).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring that field staff are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties.
  • Monitoring field operations and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Investigating incidents and accidents in the field and taking appropriate corrective action.
  • Preparing reports on field activities.
  • Training and mentoring field staff.
  • Performing inspections of work performed to ensure that procedures are being followed.
  • Maintaining field records, including inspection reports, photographs, and test results.
  • Inspecting work sites to determine if they are safe for workers.
  • Ensuring staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Assisting in establishing performance standards, recommending, and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.

COMPENSATION:
  • Salary - Commensurate with experience.
