The Dir-Pharmacy is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and direction of GMMC Pharmacy Services. The role requires a strong operational and clinical background, excellent leadership and communications skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care. The Director oversees GMMC Pharmacy operations, medication distribution/storage, sterile & non-sterile compounding, clinical pharmacy services, and campus educational programs. Ensures that the GMMC pharmacy is compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory/accreditation requirements and complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the hospital. Responsible for coordinating the business and finance activities of the GMMC Department of Pharmacy.
