Packer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Packer for a company based in Greer, SC. Responsible for handling plastic bottles and jars, performing quality inspection, and packing products according to specific packaging standards.

Pay Rate
$14.50- $16.00 per hour-

Schedule and Hours

7-day availability required; various shifts available across a 24-hour period

Packer Duties and Responsibilities
•Pull plastics items from boxes and place them on conveyor belt
•Remove bottles and jars from the conveyor line and inspect them according to quality control standards
•Pack products per posted specifications using boxes, trays or othering packaging materials
•Maintain a clean work area and perform routine machine cleaning and sanitation as required
•Follow all packaging instructions
•Maintain compliance with all safety and quality procedures
•Ability to work in physically demanding environments

Packer Qualifications and Requirements
•Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods
•Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)
•7-day availability with flexibility to work any shift, including overnight
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
•Able to push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl as needed
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities

Dress Code and Grooming Requirements
•No jewelry of any kind is permitted while on the job
•Hairnets are mandatory and must be always worn in designated areas
•Fingernails must not extend beyond the fingertips
•No nail polish or artificial/fake nails are allowed
•Gloves must be always worn while at the workstation and must not be left anywhere else
