CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Description:

MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure safe, compliant production of high-quality products by leading cross-functional initiatives, resolving technical issues, and managing project timelines. This is a 18 month contract position with direct-hire potential.

Shift Information:

  • Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM OR 7:00 AM–3:30 PM


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in manufacturing


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in production processes, manufacturing, or equipment

Essential Functions:

  • Support machining cells including troubleshooting, improving equipment reliability, process rigor, tooling, and minor programming needs
  • Manage projects and continuous improvement efforts aligned with plant metrics
  • Lead and drive qualifications as needed
  • Ensure all engineering designs and technical data meet customer CTQs and compliance requirements
  • Create and improve technical work instructions for manufacturing processes
  • Maintain and improve process documentation and enforce quality standards in assigned areas
  • Implement and continuously improve 5S methodology; drive cultural change
  • Support NPI/Repair efforts by providing technical support for processes, quality, and programs
  • Lead analytical and design activities using established technologies and approaches
  • Mentor others in areas of expertise
  • Develop new solutions in a team setting or based on organizational precedents
  • Communicate effectively within the function and area of expertise
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
